Forklift Driver/Labourer Job Description

At KFM Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver/Labourer to join our client's team in the Brough/Newport area. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a friendly, family-run business that prides itself on providing a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general warehousing duties, including loading and unloading deliveries
  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to ensure efficient movement of goods
  • Assist with labouring and handballing goods around the warehouse
Requirements:
  • Valid Counter Balance certificate
  • Proficient in operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • Previous experience in warehousing or yard work

This is a full-time position, with day shifts from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will receive a competitive pay ranging from £11.50 - £11.96 per hour, along with holiday pay (PAYE) and weekly pay. There is also potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity and opportunities for career growth and development.
