Location:HMP Lewes is a CAT B Male prison located in Lewes, East Sussex. As a Stores Operative, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced and passionate colleagues.
Salary:The salary for this role is £26,614.62 per annum.
Contract:This is a permanent, full-time position.
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Stores Operative. As a key member of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the prison's stores. This will involve managing and maintaining the stores, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and accounted for.
You will work closely with the rest of the team to ensure that the prison runs efficiently and effectively. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, and to make a real difference in the lives of prisoners and staff.
We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team. You will also need to have a good understanding of health and safety procedures and be able to maintain accurate records.
