Job Specification

Reports to: Senior Security Manager

Contract: Permanent Full-Time

Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday (08:00-17:00), with out-of-hours calls and attendances as required.

Based: St Albans

Salary: £28,000-£30,000 per annum.

About the Role

As a Security Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out site visits to ensure the client has the expected security coverage, utilizing technology and/or manned guard services to maintain the integrity and security of client sites and assets.

This role covers a large area, with the office based in St Albans and the requirement to travel within the England area for client visits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor company service delivery on client deployments
  • Investigate incidents to understand root cause
  • Advise clients of areas of coverage and non-coverage
  • Risk manage all aspects of our service delivery
  • Ensure key terms are upheld
  • Ensure service delivery is in line with company SLAs
  • Areas of non-coverage reporting and coverage plans
  • Point of Contact (POC) for the Monitoring Station for advice on out-of-hours incidents and potential attendances for serious incidents.
Key Duties
  • Technology post-installation service visits and checks
  • Quarterly service visits, daily site visits, and area of non-cover reports
  • Ensure KPIs are in line with targets
  • Incident response for client site issues where required
  • Full and reconfiguration surveys on deployable systems technologies
  • Liaise with engineering regarding faults, issues, and reportable events
  • Prompt client resolution and incident sign-off
  • Explain technology system capabilities and limitations/qualify client expectations
  • Be commercially aware and bill for client-led issues: damaged products, power incidents, or multiple reconfigurations of deployed systems
  • Multidepartment liaison managing fault visits, system reconfigurations, technology installation surveys
About You

Candidates must have:

  • A valid frontline SIA licence
  • Minimum 3 years security management experience with a good understanding of CCTV systems, investigations, and operations
  • Good working knowledge of Windows-based systems (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook)
  • Able to create reports with clear and concise information
