Join Our Team as an Independent Panel Member

We are seeking experienced individuals to join our team as independent panel members, supporting the Mayor of London in making key appointments to statutory boards and functional bodies.

As an independent panel member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the appointment process is fair, open, and transparent. You will work closely with the Mayor's office and other stakeholders to identify and appoint talented individuals who reflect the diversity of London.

We are looking for individuals with senior experience of high-profile public-sector organizations or public appointments at executive/senior management level. You will need to be able to operate in a complex political environment, upholding standards and providing sound independent judgement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Mayor's office in making key appointments to statutory boards and functional bodies
  • Ensure the appointment process is fair, open, and transparent
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and appoint talented individuals who reflect the diversity of London
  • Provide sound independent judgement and uphold standards in a complex political environment
