Advanced Nurse Practitioner Position

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for prescribing medication, implementing patient teaching, and facilitating next-care linkages, referrals, and/or admissions to ensure smooth and timely transitions to appropriate levels of care/service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prescribe medication and implement patient teaching
- Facilitate next-care linkages, referrals, and/or admissions
- Provide consultative services for patients with potential/definitive co-morbid psychiatric illnesses
- Work independently with telephonic back-up from a psychiatrist
