Learning Support Specialist for Students with Autism and ADHD

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Specialist to join our team at HEART Academies Trust. This role will involve providing support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) with a specific focus on Autism and ADHD.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering bespoke interventions to key students with Autism and ADHD, and will be able to complement teachers' delivery of the curriculum. The successful applicant will also contribute to the development of other support staff, students, and school policies and strategies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing learning support for students, teachers, and the Academy to raise standards of achievement for all
  • Assisting with planning and management of resources
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff and Access staff on transition support for the curriculum

This is a fixed-term position working 33 hours per week, Monday and Friday 8:15-15:30, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:30-15:30. If you are passionate about supporting students with SEN and have the skills and experience required for this role, we encourage you to apply.
