Job Opportunity

We are recruiting for a skilled Care and Companion Role to join our team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to an individual, promoting independence and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Tasks:

  1. Personal Care and Assistance: Assist the individual with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as mobility and transfers.
  2. Food Preparation and Cleaning: Prepare meals, cook, and clean, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  3. Social Activities and Companionship: Engage in social activities with the individual, such as walks, shopping, and museum visits, promoting social interaction and enjoyment.
  4. Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and adapt to changing needs, prioritizing the client's comfort and well-being.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience and Qualifications: Possess relevant experience and qualifications in care work, with a strong focus on providing high-quality care and support.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Develop effective relationships with the individual, family members, and other healthcare professionals, demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, with a minimum of 7-14 hours per week.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Salary: £12 per hour on weekdays, with opportunities for extra hours and shift payments.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Sunday, with 1-2 days per week, 4-7 hours each, plus additional support for community access or events (2 hours).
