Job Title: Assistant Accountant
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Leicester. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Accounts team with various accounting tasks, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, vendor setup, fixed asset accounting, and treasury tasks.
About the Role
- Support the Financial Accounts team with accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and vendor setup.
- Assist with fixed asset accounting and treasury tasks.
- Prepare accounts and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on audit support.
- Develop strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and SAP ERP.
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
- Positive and professional attitude.
About You
- Degree educated or strong A-level results.
- Desire to work in accounting and study for an accounting qualification.
- Excellent IT skills and ability to learn new systems.
