We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team in the Greater Belfast Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of a company-owned store or multiple stores, ensuring that policies, procedures, and brand standards are implemented effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Store Operations Management: Manage the daily operation of a company-owned store or multiple stores, ensuring that policies, procedures, and brand standards are implemented effectively.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of colleagues, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  3. Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive excellent service, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Sales and Profit Management: Maximize store sales and net profit through effective stock management, pricing, and promotions.
  5. Cost Control: Manage and control overhead costs, including rostering, to ensure that they are within agreed targets.
  6. Store Standards: Maintain consistently high overall store standards, including food safety, council, and health and safety compliance.
  7. People Management: Manage the recruitment, training, and development of colleagues, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  8. Community Engagement: Build and maintain links with local communities and charity partners, keeping things local and at the heart of the community.

Requirements
  1. A minimum of 2 years recent experience in convenience store management or a related field.
  2. GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent) and/or further education in a related discipline.
  3. Proven experience in stock control, people management, cost control, local marketing, HACCP implementation, and security.
  4. Demonstrated ability to manage a team.
  5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel packages.
  6. Post Office, off-licence, forecourt experience.
  7. Good knowledge of food safety practices.
