About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Engineer to join our team of design engineers and modellers in the Marine Structures department. As a Graduate Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of marine projects, working closely with our experienced team to develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the overall design and delivery of marine structures, working closely with our team to develop and implement design concepts.
  • Perform analysis using computer modelling, creating, reading, and interpreting technical material to inform design decisions.
  • Develop digital tools and approaches to solve engineering challenges for our clients, leveraging your skills in Digital Automation and BIM.
  • Communicate complex engineering concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders through presentations, reports, sketches, drawings, and infographics.
  • Identify and mitigate potential health and safety, design, and commercial risks on our projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Consider sustainability at the heart of everything you do, working to minimize the environmental impact of our projects.
  • Monitor the implementation of design throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concepts to construction and operation.
  • Contribute to the development of company procedures by taking an active role in task groups, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Proactively pursue continuous professional development, working towards chartership with a recognized institution.
Requirements
  • A BEng, MEng, or MSc level degree in a relevant engineering discipline (General Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Engineering Geology) achieved with minimum 2:1 and above.
  • Ability to summarise and present complex materials via different channels (e.g., report writing, PowerPoint, hand sketching).
  • An understanding of Digital Automation and BIM.
