Graduate Sales Engineer - Physics / Photonics

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically qualified individual to join our team as a Graduate Sales Engineer in the Physics / Photonics department.

About the Role: As a Graduate Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selling existing product lines in Europe and Asia, managing opportunities from enquiry through to close, and some financial reporting. You will also be responsible for gathering market intelligence regarding customer demands and the company's competitive position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers in both R&D and commercial / OEM settings.
  • Sell existing product lines in Europe and Asia, managing opportunities from enquiry through to close.
  • Conduct market research to gather intelligence on customer demands and the company's competitive position.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Natural drive and commitment to succeed within a sales environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the Physics / Photonics industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
