Our flagship store, located in a brand new facility on the outskirts of a major town, features a state-of-the-art home and gift hall, a high-quality produce food hall, including a bakery, delicatessen, chef-to-go range, and butchers.

Our Vision

We are committed to delivering high-quality products with exceptional service. As a General Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and growing both our retail and hospitality businesses across all divisions, ensuring that the customer remains at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, including food hall, dining, home and garden, private hire functions, and in-house events.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and Marketing Director to create strategies for brand awareness and sales opportunities across local, national, and social networks, as well as our e-commerce platform.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team, recruiting, training, and developing staff in partnership with the People Manager.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the site operates efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a multi-operational retail environment.
  • Proven commercial success in a retail environment with a turnover of >£10m per annum.
  • Excellent conflict and performance management skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make informed decisions.
