About the Role


As a Business Intelligence Lead at National Grid, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategy and driving business performance. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data across the organization's business systems, regularly auditing and maintaining data to support reliable reporting and decision making.


Key Responsibilities



  • Utilize Power BI to develop dynamic dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights, enabling stakeholders to make informed tactical and strategical decisions.
  • Leverage systems to extract, analyze, and interpret key business data, ensuring timely and relevant reporting across Customer Connections.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting processes, improving efficiency and accuracy in delivering business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into valuable insights that drive strategy and performance improvement.
  • Lead efforts to train and support teams in data management and performance best practice, ensuring consistency and confidence in data usage and reporting across the Connections department.

Requirements



  • Strong analytical skills, with a proficiency in analyzing large, complex data sets using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated ability of managing information and presenting recommendations/conclusions to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams and ability to influence outcomes in alignment with business goals.
