Senior Battery Management Systems Controls Engineer

As a senior member of our Controls Engineering team at Eatron Technologies, you will be heavily involved in the development of cutting-edge control algorithms and software stack for our Intelligent Software Layer in automotive & mobility applications. Key responsibilities include participating in requirement definition and reviews, developing complex control functions with serial production intent, and coordinating software development and testing around the V-Cycle process. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing documentation and software releases, as well as supporting industrialization efforts including DV&PV test planning and EoL specifications when required.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing innovative control functions with serial production intent
  • Clean sheet designs including system and software architecture and requirement analysis
  • Coordinating software development and testing around the V-cycle
  • Managing documentation and software releases
  • Supporting industrialization efforts
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of experience in battery management controls and software development in automotive
  • Strong control systems background including system identification, estimation theory, and model predictive control techniques
  • Excellent grasp of the Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow toolchain
  • Good understanding of automotive software development including V-cycle and MISRA C/C++
  • Knowledge of ISO26262 Functional Safety and ASPICE processes
  • Good understanding of EV technologies and battery management systems
