About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Payment Processor to join our Finance team in Uxbridge. As a Payment Processor, you will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver our industry-leading servicing proposition for our clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Accurate and Timely Processing: Deliver accurate and timely processing of mortgage administration activities and other daily tasks.
  • Payment Processing Activities: Upload payments, review bank statements, and administer refunds.
  • Customer Interactions: Responsible for daily interactions with customers and third parties via telephone and writing, offering excellent customer service throughout.
  • Client Liaison: Effectively liaise with clients, representing Pepper Advantage appropriately.
  • End-to-End Servicing: Responsible for end-to-end servicing of the mortgage from completion to redemption stage.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as part of a wider Primary Servicing team, open to undertaking additional tasks as required to ensure Service Level Agreements are delivered.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in Banking and Accounting: Experience in banking, accounting, and/or payment processing.
  • Transaction Knowledge: A good understanding of transactional activities relating to mortgage/loan accounts.
  • Account Remediation: Experience in identifying and executing account-level remediation whilst ensuring accuracy when reviewing account transactions.
  • Decision-Making: Ability to demonstrate day-to-day decision-making with adherence to TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) requirements.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-orientated and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse problems, think creatively, and make effective decisions in the appropriate timescales.
