Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor in General Radiology to join our team at the Isle of Wight NHS Trust. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Reporting and interpreting imaging studies, including CT, MRI, and plain film radiography
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings (MDTs) and contributing to patient care
  • Providing teaching and training to junior medical staff and students
  • Engaging in clinical audit and research activities
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the efficient running of services

Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists or equivalent
  • GMC registration and license to practice
  • Experience in general radiology and a strong understanding of current trends in the specialty
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
