Job Title: HSEQ Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSEQ Manager to join our client, a Civil Engineering Contractor based in West Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the health, safety, environmental, and quality management functions across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, with experience in leading site teams, clients, department heads, and the board of directors. They will be responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

The HSEQ Manager will receive a competitive salary up to £75k, a car allowance or salary sacrifice electric/hybrid car scheme, company bonus, private healthcare, and 25 days' holiday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs
  • Lead site teams, clients, department heads, and the board of directors
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Manage health, safety, and environmental risks and incidents
  • Develop and implement quality management systems
