Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quarry Manager to lead our successful quarry operation in the Forest of Dean. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the site, ensuring compliance with regulations and health and safety standards.

About the Role:

  • Manage a team of 11 people, including two managers, to achieve operational excellence and drive business performance.
  • Oversee financial management, reporting, and quality control across the site.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve safety, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in quarry operations or a related field.
  • Holding an SHE NVQ Level 4 and a relevant degree-level qualification.
  • Good knowledge of quarry operations, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
  • Demonstrable management experience with a diverse workforce.
  • Full UK driving license.
