About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned quarry professional to take on a leadership role and drive business growth. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quarry operations, including production, safety, and quality. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the site and achieving our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate quarry operations to meet production targets and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
- Lead and motivate a team of 11 staff members to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor and control costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Significant experience in quarry management, preferably with a SHE NVQ Level 4.A relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.Strong knowledge of quarry operations, regulations, and H&S requirements.A full UK driving license.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of up to £57,500 per annum, plus an 8% company bonus and a company car.
