About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assessor to join our team in Guildford and surrounding areas. As an Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
  • Efficiently manage your diary to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
Requirements
  1. Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
  2. Experience of delivering Apprenticeships (Previously as Frameworks and looking to return to assessing – or more recently assessed New Apprenticeship Standards) in Health and Social Care at Level 3.
  3. Occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly).
  4. Familiarity with online remote assessments and face-to-face delivery.
  5. A good level of ICT skills.
  6. A full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  7. Flexibility with travel.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £32,000 per annum, plus an additional £5,000 OTE, making it a competitive offer in the industry. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with a focus on quality and learner outcomes.
