Teaching Assistant for Students with Autism

Job Description
The successful candidate will work as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, supporting a young person with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a specialist secondary school in Bolton.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the student in following daily timetables and routines
- Helping the student engage with learning activities and achieving their academic goals
- Providing emotional support to the student, helping them navigate their emotions and behaviors
Requirements:
- A genuine commitment to supporting young people with ASD
- Experience working with students with autism or similar conditions
- Enhanced DBS clearance and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being
What We Offer
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with specialist resources and training opportunities. They will also be an integral part of helping a young person with autism achieve their potential.
This is a full-time position, but we also consider part-time applications. The salary for this role is £28,000-£30,000 per year, depending on experience.
