Teaching Assistant for Students with Autism Needs

Salary: £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a specialist secondary school. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students build confidence, emotional regulation, and life skills. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a tailored plan for each student, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.

Our specialist secondary school provides education for students with complex learning needs, including Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). Requirements
We're looking for a dedicated and patient individual who is passionate about working with students with autism. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a genuine commitment to supporting young people with ASD. Enhanced DBS clearance and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being are also essential. In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
