Job Title: Development Technologist

Allicio Nutrition is seeking a highly skilled Development Technologist to join our New Product Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for commercializing customer briefs from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with team members to assess raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Support in the preparation and dispatch of samples for customers.
  • Document product technical information, including nutritional calculations, allergen assessments, and ingredient declarations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prepare factory trials and 1st productions for new and improved products.
  • Present new or improved products to customers, working closely with the Head of Product Development and Senior Development Technologist.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Food or Nutritional Science or related field.
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to manage own workload.
  • Experience in formulating food products and primary and secondary packaging.
  • Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills with good attention to detail.
  • Good communication, planning, and organizing skills.
  • Practical skills and personal integrity.
  • Understanding of NPD processes, Food Safety, HACCP, and allergen management processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • 1 year experience in a similar role.
