Job Overview

We are seeking skilled and experienced train operators to join our team at Arriva Rail London (ARL) as we continue to grow and shape the future of rail transport. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in continually productive main line train driving, along with a good safety record.

The successful candidate will work primarily alone, maintaining high levels of concentration at all times while being fully responsible for passenger safety. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Effectively working under pressure and reacting positively to unforeseen circumstances
  • Flexibility regarding work and shift patterns, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Living within 1 hour of the New Cross Gate depot via public transport

Benefits include free travel for the employee and a nominated person on TfL Network, discounts on European rail services, and season tickets on other Train Operating Companies.
