Job Title: Streetworks Coordinator

Job Summary:

United Living Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Streetworks Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure project team, you will be responsible for submitting and managing highway permits and notices across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland using the Aurora system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, submit, and maintain streetworks permits and notices.
  • Coordinate all tasks related to permits and notices, including opening and closing permits, submitting works start and stops, applying permit variations, answering modifications, requesting early starts, updating interim and permanent registrations, and dealing with defects.
  • Produce reports on all tasks as required.
  • Assign permit conditions.
  • Complete applications and notices within set SLAs.
  • Ensure all works are compliant with NRSWA and address any issues or requests from relevant Local Authorities.
  • Work with the project team to ensure works are completed within set timeframes, all relevant paperwork and photos are received from site, and all notices and permits are opened and closed on time to prevent fines from Local Authorities.
  • Liaise with Local Authorities and Traffic Management Companies.
  • Prepare Traffic Management Applications.
  • Manage, investigate, and respond to S74 and Fixed Penalty Notices.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to internal and external inquiries from Local Authorities and the project team.
  • General support administration as requested.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good level of IT skills, including Excel and other Microsoft packages.
  • Experience working in the telecommunications or similar industry.
  • Adept at manipulating client tools and reports.
  • Knowledge of Symology, Street Manager, Aurora, and Business Central.
