The ideal candidate will have ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT qualification and 3-5 years of experience working in tax. You will be an excellent communicator, organised, and detail-oriented, with a methodical approach to tax.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of approximately 200 clients and overseeing the planning and preparation of their personal tax returns.
  • Ensuring high-quality service and advice are consistently delivered to clients.
  • Identifying and recommending tax planning opportunities tailored to clients' needs.
  • Leading weekly planning and scheduling meetings to ensure efficient workflow and client service.
  • Managing, motivating, and supervising support staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Reviewing work prepared by team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
  • Handling ad-hoc tasks related to non-compliance issues as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate time records and monitoring performance against budgets and proposed fees.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations, proposals, and advice letters for clients, potential clients, and staff.
  • Writing a monthly article for the website and social media to share insights and promote the firm's expertise.
  • Providing internal training to team members, supporting their professional development.
  • Staying current with tax legislation and best practices to ensure technical knowledge is up to date.
  • Contributing to the firm's overall practice development and growth initiatives.

The firm offers a highly competitive benefits package, including a salary of £50,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. Study support, parking, and a collaborative team environment are also available.
