Asset Database Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Asset Database Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of Information Governance compliance with legal, statutory, and best practice requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation of information governance standards and processes.
- Coordinate the release of information in accordance with legal and statutory obligations and local organizational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to support and facilitate the completion of Data Protection Impact Assessments.
- Maintain a Trust-wide database and archive to support the transition of policies through the ratification process.
- Disseminate current policies to enable the Trust to comply with Risk Management, Information Governance, and other external standards.
- Support the coordination and evidence collation for the annual Data Security and Protection Toolkit submission.
- Develop and deliver information governance training, advice, support, and awareness-raising materials.
Alder Hey and Liverpool Heart and Chest have recently developed a formal collaboration as part of the specialist Trust alliance in relation to digital strategy. As part of the collaboration, the Information Governance functions across both Trusts have aligned under the new I-Digital framework, providing a central IG function to support both organizations.
Requirements- Educated to A-Level or equivalent, with information governance specific training or accreditation.
- Registered with a professional network to support continuous development.
- Sound knowledge of legislative principles and exemptions to disclosure of data.
- Experience working within information governance or related subject matter.
- Management of access to information or disclosure requests.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
