We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the implementation of a core equipment award, focusing on enhancing research infrastructure and empowering research excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the acquisition and management of multi-user equipment, ensuring alignment with the organization's research goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with research teams to identify equipment needs and develop proposals for funding, ensuring a strong business case and clear benefits for the organization.
- Manage the application process, ensuring compliance with EPSRC guidelines and regulations, and coordinating with stakeholders as needed.
- Lead the project team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of the equipment and associated research projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including EPSRC, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of research infrastructure and equipment needs, with experience in developing and implementing strategic plans.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop compelling business cases for funding.
