Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of strategic infrastructure that will enhance the UK's scientific capability and support cutting-edge research in the field of Engineering and Physical Sciences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for infrastructure development that aligns with the goals of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC)
  • Collaborate with research organizations to identify and prioritize infrastructure needs
  • Manage and oversee the procurement and setup of infrastructure, including equipment and resources
  • Ensure that all infrastructure projects meet the EPSRC's eligibility criteria and standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including research organizations and EPSRC
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of leading infrastructure development projects
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with research organizations and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of EPSRC's eligibility criteria and standards
