We are seeking a skilled Classroom Learning Mentor to support our teachers in the classroom and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school environment.

  • Estimated salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum (equivalent to £500-£550 per week)
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4pm

  • Job Description:
    • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, supporting students with their learning needs
    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, activities and resources
    • Provide pastoral care and support to students, maintaining accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
  • A 2:1 Bachelor's Degree (or higher) from a leading UK University
  • Prior experience working with young people in an educational capacity
  • Sensitivity to emotional dysregulation and a strong knowledge of safeguarding practices
  • Patience and empathy for people who may not respond to mainstream teaching methods
  • Extracurricular hobbies or interests that can be used to connect with students (desired, not essential)
