Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Craftsperson to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors by ensuring all essential services are maintained to support clinical departments in their prime task of treating patients.
Main Responsibilities- Perform engineering maintenance work, including complex and non-routine tasks.
- Diagnose, repair, and calibrate a wide range of complex engineering plant and equipment.
- Install new equipment and electrical/mechanical services.
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
- Completed a formal craft apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
- Attained an academic qualification to Higher National Certificate of Engineering standards.
- Experience of fault finding on complex building services, plant, and equipment to a high level of competence.
- Knowledge of systems such as Building Management Systems, fire alarms, power systems, and infrastructure.
