Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Operations Coordinator to join our team in Wolverhampton. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for managing the smooth operation of our payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial data processing.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Coordinating monthly, quarterly, and yearly periodic payrolls in accordance with established timetables and authorising payment figures, including deductions to external bodies;

* Collaborating with the HR team to ensure seamless payroll processes and adherence to deadlines;

* Providing exceptional customer service to employees and managers, addressing payroll-related queries and concerns;

* Analyzing and calculating over/under payments of pension manually, requiring a sound knowledge of tax regulations.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* Experience in a similar position with up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations;

* Strong organisational and communication skills;

* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines;

* Knowledge of payroll software and systems.

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
