Job Summary:

NMS Recruit Limited is seeking a highly skilled Telecoms IT Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Support Team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and resolving technical issues related to broadband and hosted telephony services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external customers.
  • Address technical issues and resolve faults, requests, and inquiries related to broadband and hosted telephony services.
  • Process and fulfill VoIP orders, including hardware provisioning and installation.
  • Assume full responsibility for resolving technical issues and ensuring regular updates are provided to stakeholders.
  • Deliver product training to customers to ensure a thorough understanding of products and services.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an IT Support role, preferably in the Telecoms sector.
  • Knowledge of Network Hardware, including PCs, switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Experience with Networking technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and router configuration.
  • Experience with Telephony Systems, including Hosted/IP telephony systems and SIP trunks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for learning new technologies and a desire to develop professionally.
