About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Leader to join our team. As the regulatory lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and efficacy of veterinary medicines in the UK.

About Us:

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) is an Executive Agency of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). We are responsible for protecting public health, animal health, and the environment by assuring the safety, quality, and effectiveness of veterinary medicines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and leading a team to manage and process applications received in respect of veterinary medicinal products
  • Providing strategic leadership and advice on complex issues
  • Building strong networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
What You Need:
  • A good understanding of the regulation of veterinary medicinal products
  • Relevant experience in developing and leading a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Salary:

£73,395 - £83,194 per annum
