Customer Support Engineer - Trackside

At Prodrive, we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Support Engineer to provide exceptional engineering support to our GT3 customers competing globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality engineering support to customers on events and tests, including programming of electronic control units and setting of car systems for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Ensure efficient operation of the car, powertrain, and systems by the customer, adhering to technical regulations and event-specific requirements.
  • Provide planning and technical input to customers, assisting with event preparation, car setup, operating standards, and sporting topics.
  • Manage spares packages for events, maintain mileage records with customers, and optimize performance and reliability.
  • Prepare post-event reports, including event and performance analysis of the car and team.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation and updates for customers.
  • Maintain exceptional customer interaction and ensure the highest level of support in challenging environments.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal systems to enhance efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., Mechanical or Automotive Engineering).
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a similar role for a manufacturer or customer team in WRC, ERC, or Rally Raid.
  • Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Desire to travel and experience top motorsport events globally.
  • Confidence in working and traveling alone, managing travel plans, and being self-sufficient.
  • Ability to integrate well into different customer teams and respect their culture.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional support and exceeding customer expectations.
