About the Marking Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marking Specialist for Music Awards to join our team at Pearson.

Main Responsibilities
  • Marking: Accurately and consistently mark student responses to ensure overall standards are maintained.
  • Script Review: Conduct thorough reviews of marked scripts to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: A degree or equivalent in Music Education or related field.
  • Experience: At least one year of teaching experience in the relevant subject area.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively under pressure.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual Salary: $75,000 - $95,000, based on experience.
