Job Title: Apprentice - Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a well-established European market-leading specialist in sustainable manufacturing services. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency, development, and progress of our manufacturing lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manufacture new tooling and equipment to support new processes and products.
  • Diagnose faults and ensure production is resumed as soon as possible during critical equipment breakdowns.
  • Contribute to the planning and organisation of new production lines and processes into the business.
  • Assist with production line moves and supervise contractors on site.
  • Support production areas with replacement tooling and offer design improvements to eliminate failure modes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of maintenance engineering principles and practices. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
