About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team in an established food manufacturing company. As a key member of our production process, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and plant to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiencies.
- Assist with project work, including the introduction of new plant and equipment, to support business growth and development.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to maintain a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to Health & Safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
We are looking for a seasoned Maintenance Engineer with experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You should have a strong understanding of Health & Safety and be able to provide clear examples of reactive and preventative maintenance. FMCG manufacturing experience, particularly in the food industry, is highly desirable.
