As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and economic production of high-quality food while maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals to meet the dietary needs of our clients.
- Participate in staff and client meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain and improve professional knowledge and competence through ongoing training and development.
- Attend mandatory training sessions and courses to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to statutory Health and Safety standards.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or potential hazards to the Home Manager or Person in Charge.
- Implement the Home's Health and Safety policy and Emergency procedures.
- Report any faulty appliances, damaged equipment, or potential hazards to the Home Manager or Handyperson.
- Promote safe working practices and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
- Notify the Home Manager or Person in Charge of any absence or return to work.
- Maintain the security of the Home at all times.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures within defined timescales.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and well-maintained.
- Perform other tasks as reasonably assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Food/Hygiene Certificate
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Practical experience in working within a commercial kitchen environment
Working Pattern: Saturday and Sundays, 08:00-17:00
