Special Needs Support Teacher for SEND Students

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate teaching assistant to join our team at a special needs high school in Salford.
Responsibilities:- Support children or young adults with additional needs in a special needs high school setting.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher, other TAs, parents, and outside professionals to provide emotional and learning support.
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and positive working environment.
- Full-time position, possible temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
- Equal pay from the 13th week onwards, paid via PAYE through Tradewind.
- Monday to Friday, 8:15am-3:15pm.
- A special needs high school in Salford with students who have an EHCP for Autism, SEMH, and Learning, Communication, or Sensory needs.
- Class sizes of no more than 8 pupils including TA support.
- Excellent facilities and resources that enhance their holistic curriculum offer.
- £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, based on a 39-week contract.
- Top rates of pay paid via PAYE through Tradewind, without umbrella companies.
- Free online CPD courses through our partnership with The National College.

- A straightforward online portal for timesheets and logging availability.
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willing to obtain a new one).
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
- A valid CV with full education and work history.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
