Special Education Needs Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team at The Manchester College.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week) based at our Wythenshawe Campus. As a SEND Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and training students with special education needs.
You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering high-quality teaching, and providing individualized support to students. Your passion for teaching and commitment to student success will make a significant impact on our students' lives.
Key Responsibilities- Teach SEND students in a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Create tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs.
- Assess and monitor student progress, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A degree in Education or a related field.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience working with SEND students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
As a member of our team, you can expect:
