About the Role
As a Railway Maintenance Specialist at Network Rail, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to maintain and repair the electrification system, ensuring power flows safely and efficiently through the rails.
- Specialise in Distribution & Plant, with a focus on inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal techniques.
- Lead the team when required, using your skills to deliver work safely and checking the team has the right competencies to meet our strict safety standards.
- Be a role model for safe working behaviours and confident to challenge any potential risks to safety.
Requirements
- Leadership skills, able to motivate and direct a team for safe and efficient work delivery.
- Effective communication skills, both in person and in writing.
- Knowledge of discipline-specific maintenance, inspection, faulting, and renewal techniques.
- Willing and able to work shifts in all weathers.
- Meet the required benchmark for application screening questions.
