Special Needs Education Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at beBee Professionals in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will provide essential support to students with special needs, enabling them to reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Main Duties:- Work collaboratively with the lead teacher to implement individualized education plans, ensuring students receive the necessary support to succeed academically and personally.
- Provide emotional support and create a safe space for students with special needs, promoting social-emotional development and fostering a sense of belonging.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators, sharing insights and recommendations to optimize student outcomes.
- A relevant associate's degree in Special Education or a certification in a related field.
- Proven experience working with children with special needs, demonstrating a strong understanding of the challenges they face and the strategies needed to support them.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and families.
- A competitive salary of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
