About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Riverside. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our customers, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to customers, helping them to develop life skills, access education and employment opportunities, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to support.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify customer needs and develop personalized support plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to customers, helping them to manage challenging situations and build resilience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, progress, and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults, preferably in a care and support setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Knowledge of current benefit systems and the ability to provide guidance on benefits and welfare advice.
  • Competent administrative and IT skills, with the ability to produce reports and other communications.
