We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to provide support in our school in Accrington. Our school prioritizes the well-being of our pupils and their families, fostering a positive learning environment. We expect all staff to share this ethos.

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
  • Competitive rates £12.90 - £15.
  • Temporary opportunity with potential for permanence.
  • Ofsted-rated 'good' school.

The ideal candidate:

  • Desirable: experience and relevant qualifications.
  • Ability to start as soon as possible.
  • Hold or be able to obtain a child-only DBS.

The role:

  • Supporting in day-to-day classroom tasks.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to create a harmonious atmosphere for pupils.
  • Providing individual support to pupils who require additional help.
  • Identifying learning gaps and reporting to the relevant class teacher.

Our school is easily accessible by car and public transport. We welcome the right candidate to commute, provided they can maintain punctuality.

All support staff are warmly welcomed by our experienced and friendly team, who are happy to assist new practitioners in settling into their roles.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. This may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
