Advanced Nurse Practitioner

The NHS is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their team on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week. This role involves providing expert clinical knowledge and skills in managing patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
Main Responsibilities- Manage patient cases, provide subject matter expertise, and advise on treatment plans.
- Interpret pathology services as needed and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with legislation.
- Conduct consultations via face-to-face meetings, phone calls, or video conferencing, and perform home visits as required.
- Implement effective immunization programs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Postgraduate diploma or degree in Advanced Practice Qualification
- Qualified independent nurse prescriber registered with the NMC
- Familiarity with health promotion strategies
- Understanding of PGDs and associated policies
This position requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check due to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
