About the Role

FNZ Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Internal Client Money Reconciliations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our CASS Office, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our internal client money reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and review daily internal client money reconciliations to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Challenge internal and external processes to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Review and improve internal processes and procedures, providing feedback to other operational teams as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with new developments and regulations in the market place.
  • Deal with complex issues and deliver effective resolutions.
  • Provide technical support to the business based on your knowledge of the team and role.
  • Support the implementation of approved changes into the role.
  • Assist in reviewing work and producing management information.
  • Support the review of project documentation to assess impact on the team.
  • Review procedures periodically to ensure completeness and accuracy of current processes.
  • Identify and drive forward ideas to continuously improve existing operating processes.
  • Stay informed about market changes and developments that impact the team, and have a sound overall awareness of the team's functions.
  • Have a technical understanding of platform functionality and operation, including an end-to-end view of the process and platform for the team.
Requirements
  • Understanding of CASS rules and how they apply to the operational environment.
  • Ability to analyze, present, and report complex regulatory information to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external parties at all levels.
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to take data from multiple sources and produce accurate and timely reports.
  • Highly organized, confident, decisive, and enthusiastic self-starter.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, both as part of an effective team and autonomously.
  • Ability to escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to changing business needs.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Knowledge of UK investment products and markets.
