Job Title: Archive Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Archive Assistant to join our team at Box. As an Archive Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our archive collections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Archive Access teams to conduct research, evaluate proposals, and deliver targeted results and analysis.
  • Execute tasks that align with our EDI priorities and commitment to decolonising collections.
  • Assist in reviewing and implementing customer relationship management tools, as well as evaluating sales, audience engagement, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of film, cinema history, and/or cultural studies within the library information and archival domain, with demonstrable proficiency equivalent to a degree level.
  • Significant prior experience utilising Information or Science Information Management skillsets in a professional context.
  • Knowledge of database structures and the software used for cataloguing and indexing both analogue and digital collections.
  • Understanding of minimum (film and tv) cataloguing and metadata standards and schema for describing assets and facilitating their discovery and retrieval.
