Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Aseptic Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for managing inventory across two Aseptic stores, ensuring minimal wastage while maintaining a reliable service.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Pharmacy Aseptic Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and monitoring inventory turnover;
  • Managing purchasing and procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of essential medications and supplies;
  • Collaborating with the Specialist Technician to source new or alternative product supply and implement policy changes;
  • Providing support to staff members on medication management and inventory procedures;
  • Contributing to the development of policies and procedures related to drug purchasing and supply.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • HNC-level knowledge or equivalent practical experience;
  • Experience working with computerized stock control procedures;
  • Supervisory qualification or proven line management skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Able to work accurately under pressure and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays on a rotational basis. You may also be required to travel to other sites within LTHT to attend training/briefingsessions, meetings or support other dispensaries as required.

The estimated salary range for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
