About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maths Tutor to join our team at South Ayrshire Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver engaging lessons to students, developing and implementing curriculum plans that meet their individual needs.

  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues to achieve academic goals, sharing best practices and ideas to drive student success.
  • Safety and Respect: Ensure a safe and respectful learning environment for all students, promoting positive behavior and attitudes towards mathematics.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Mathematics Expertise: A deep understanding of mathematical concepts and principles, including number systems, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines.
